Company FAQ's

Q. How long does it take to process and receive my prescription?

A. Usually prescriptions are processed on the day they are received and submitted via mail with a range of 24 to 48 hours for delivery.

Q. What happens with my refill?

A. Refills are processed within five days of the end of the previous prescription, allowing ample time for the refill to reach the patient.

Q. What insurance do you accept?


A. Through the Pharmacy, National Direct accepts Medicaid, most Medicare part D plans, and other third party payors.  In the medical equipment division we accept Medicaid, Medicare, and other third party payors.


Q. What happens when my prescriptions expire?


A. The physician is notified 30 days before the prescription expires to obtain a renewal prescription or to establish if the patient must return to the doctor to acquire the new prescription.


Q. What happens if I cannot make my co-pay at the time of shipment of my prescription?


A. 1) Medicare – After your annual deductible is satisfied medications will be shipped along with         your bill
    2)
Medicaid  -. Your prescription is automatically mailed along with your bill.
    3)
Third Party – A customer service representative will contact you to secure a method of         payment for all future shipments.

Q. How often are diabetic supplies sent?

A. 1) Medicare/Third Parties- Every three (3) months.

    2)  Medicaid – Every Month

Q. What is my actual cost of shipping?


A. Shipping is free.


Q. How long does it take to get your prescriptions or supplies?


A. From time of shipment, it normally takes about 2-3 business days.


Q. How does your company send orders?


A. Most orders are sent by US Postal Service. However, some addresses require the use of UPS, Federal Express or personal courier.
